EPL Tips for 2nd October 2022
Crystal Palace – Chelsea: Both Teams To Score (5/6)
The visitors have only managed one clean sheet from their last eight league games. Though they have also only failed to score once in those same eight games. Home advantage should give Crystal Palace the confidence to get at least one goal and I trust Chelsea to do the same, with the quality at their disposal.
I Like Our Chances
Liverpool – Brighton: Liverpool To Be Winning At 45 Minutes (19/20)
Klopp will know the importance of getting ahead early in this tie. His side will be coming off the back of a more than dissappointing draw in the derby and against a side that will be under new management, should have enough to hurt the visitors early on.
Fulham – Newcastle: Both Teams To Score (4/6)
In their last three home games, Fulham have scored seven times and at least twice in each game. They have also conceded twice in two of the games and once in the other, failing to record a clean sheet. Newcastle have only failed to score once from their last four away games. Managing to achieve that at two of the hardest grounds to visit; Anfield and Molineux.
Manchester City – Manchester United: Manchester City To Win And Both Teams To Score (6/4)
Since being humbled away to Brentford, United have really stepped up their game, impressing with four straight wins. Most recently, beating the league leaders Arsenal. City are playing some of the best attacking football this league has ever seen though and it’s hard to look past them getting the win. Their all out attacking approach does leave them suspect to conceding though.
Arsenal – Tottenham: Arsenal To Win And Both Teams To Score (13/5)
Looking at Arsenal’s last six home league games, there’s a clear pattern. They’ve won all six but also conceded. Spurs will be a real test for the league leaders and though derbies are always unpredictable, the home advantage should count for a lot in the end.
