Single (5/6)

Aston Villa – Wolves

Confidence shouldn’t be lacking for Wolves, ahead of Bruno Lage’s first derby at the club. They’ve recorded three wins from four in the league. The same should apply to the home side who managed a surprising win at Old Trafford after thumping Everton 3-0 in their last match at Villa Park. I anticipate both teams going for the three points with an open game that should end in both teams netting.

Watford – Liverpool: First Half Result Liverpool (17/20)

Though I am excited to see the Tinkerman back in the Premier League, his first game in charge couldn’t have been any harder. Given time, I expect he will keep the Hornets up. Liverpool never waste time in imposing their game and I have to back them to have taken the lead by half time.

Arsenal – Crystal Palace: Arsenal Win (4/6)

At home, it’s hard to bet against Arsenal here. After being humbled against Manchester City, the team has responded very well. Four wins followed by their recent draw away at West Brom. Crystal Palace remain a work in progress. Choosing to be a more adventurous side means they leave themselves exposed defensively. I fully expect Arsenal to exploit this. It could end up being a high scoring game.

Arsenal – Crystal Palace: Arsenal Win and Both Teams To Score. (5/2)

As I said above, I expect a very open game. Neither team are incredible defensively, but pose enough of a danger offensively too that they can hurt any team in the division. Ultimately, I think Arsenal are better in both phases though and should be the hungrier side at home.

Newcastle – Tottenham: Tottenham Win (11/10)

This would’ve always been a difficult game for Newcastle but with the announcement of the new owners and speculation around Steve Bruce’s job, preparation couldn’t have been ideal. Rather unfairly, more pressure will be on him to get a result and I can’t see that happening. Spurs need to continue where they left off, before the international break with a solid win at home to Villa.

Manchester City – Burnley: Manchester City Winning at 30 mins (19/20)

Back-to-back 5-0 wins home was following by a more than surprising nil-nil against Southampton. I feel it’s more likely that City get back to their blistering best this weekend though and will grab an early lead against a Burnley side that appear to be lacking the drive and talent to get points.
